Terms of Use

Last updated: October 8, 2026.

These terms cover your use of this website, run by Major Taylor Michigan Cycling Advocacy ("Major Taylor Michigan", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them.

Using the site

You are welcome to read, share and link to the site. Please do not misuse it: no attempts to break in, overload it, scrape it at scale, or use it to send spam or anything unlawful.

Our content

The words, photos, logos and design on this site belong to Major Taylor Michigan or to the people who licensed them to us. You may share pages and quote short passages with credit. Please ask before reusing photos, logos or longer passages. Partner and sponsor logos belong to their owners.

Donations

Donations are processed by third-party payment providers (Zeffy, PayPal Giving Fund or Stripe, depending on how you give), and their terms also apply. Gifts made to a specific program go to that program wherever possible. Where that program is not yet running, your gift goes to the area of greatest need. If you think a gift was made in error, let us know through our contact page and we will work with you and the payment provider to sort it out. Monthly gifts can be cancelled at any time from your giving account.

Please check with your tax advisor about the deductibility of your gift. We send a receipt for every online donation.

Program information

We try to keep program details, schedules, schools and maps accurate, but they change. Maps of the Joe Louis Greenway show the corridor as we understand it and are not a guarantee that any route is open, complete or safe on a given day. Always ride with care and follow local traffic laws.

Links to other sites

We link to other websites, such as partners, news coverage and payment providers. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or relying on it.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Questions? Reach Major Taylor Michigan Cycling Advocacy through our contact page.
